Red Bourbon? Head of the flock

My mom just sent me pics of her three new chickens (females) and pardoned tom turkey. This big boy thinks he is a rooster and herds the ladies when its time to come in at night. He also sleeps with them. I think he is a red bourbon based on other peoples pictures...What do you think?

Yes he looks like a Bourbon Red.

And just a word of caution, be careful housing him with chicken hens, come breeding season he may try to mate them and he could seriously hurt or kill them. I don't know how often this occurs but I have read some people experience this while others don't.
