The farm store got my order of turkeys in 2 weeks early! After a mad scramble to get the brooder setup, I picked up 6 'lil turkeys!

They are sooo much quieter than the chicks were, just little soft trills and not nearly as much peeping. I hope this is normal for turkey poults.

Turkeys are that way when they are little. They are very silent annd not that active.Well, they but not as much as baby chickens.

Absloutely adorable!! I have 7 in my bator, due the 24th! Mine will be cross between RP/BS/Bronze.
I just set another 14 of them on the 16th. UGH! 4 weeks to go!!
