Red face, normal?

So this is the (i think) buff orpington. Her face is getting redder, is that normal for these guys? Sorry to bug everyone,

From a close-up, I'm pretty sure that's a Buff. I know combs get redder when the hens are closer to their first egg, but If she's not showing any signs of discomfort... she should be fine. Keep a close eye on her for the next 3ish days. I'm not chicken doctor so others may know more
 
I got a betterish picture. And it’s mainly the red arrow areas that worry me...

I appreciate being able to bug you guys. They are 7 weeks now. A couple more body pictures little cruddy, but hopefully someone can tell? phoenix acts like either a very dominate female or a cockrel so i am a little worried. My daughter loves the bird *sigh*

So far, looks like a female to me. Do you see any pointed saddle or hackle feathers? Defiantly a Buff Orp to! Round and short saddle and hackle feathers mean girl, long and pointed means boy. Plus other traits if course. So far, I vote pullet.

she seems round everywhere. and looking at images and her hackle and saddle feathers are round.
