I appreciate being able to bug you guys. They are 7 weeks now. A couple more body pictures little cruddy, but hopefully someone can tell? phoenix acts like either a very dominate female or a cockrel so i am a little worried. My daughter loves the bird *sigh*How old thought? Feel free to bug us anytime! Looks like a Buff to me as well! ☺
So far, looks like a female to me. Do you see any pointed saddle or hackle feathers? Defiantly a Buff Orp to! Round and short saddle and hackle feathers mean girl, long and pointed means boy. Plus other traits if course. So far, I vote pullet.

At only 7 weeks you won't be able to see them. They usually come in at about 12-14 weeks. With a comb and wattles that big and red at 7 weeks I'm thinking cockerel.she seems round everywhere. and looking at images and her hackle and saddle feathers are round.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
