Red, featherless rear end?

This has been this way for a while now. I keep waiting for the feathers to grow but ma now wondering if something is wrong instead? She has two little spots with a tiny bit of blood. I haven't seen any mites.

Hmmm…this might be out of my wheelhouse. I think to check for mites it’s best to do it at night with a headlamp so you can catch them on the chickens
