Red golden hen by hand

so i was filling the spots for food in the pen and throwing out sunflower seed and then one jump on my shoulder...i didnt know which bird it was so i picked my phone out for a quick pic and it was one of my small silver golden/ maybe golden...the guy i bought the seven from was unsure if i got some of his silver goldens...but here it is and then i fed it from my hand as well...they have only been in the pen for about three weeks...so you can tame them very fast...i spend atleast two maybe three hours a day in their coop and pen...

here is another one of my four year old male displaying....he likes to do this when i walk in the coop so i have a ton of these pics...he is very yellow..

Very cool! My "adopted" Red Golden that appeared in my backyard a few months ago ate out of my hand for the first time yesterday :D I was very excited!

u prolly got our michigan tstorms....i was wondering as well if you knew what to breed to get the different mutations or did you just start with the mutation pair...and if there a pair wouldnt most people being selling relatedpairs...how do you do this part....i havent made it to this part but have 22 birds and next season is going to be busy...

I don't breed mutants I got a few from eggs I am new to the pheasant breeding world but I'm doing well I'm up to about 120 but need to sell a bunch I have reeves , bianchi ,swinhoe from this years hatch and yellow golden males silver males and a few mutants with very nice colors and also some peach mutants with awesome colors ! As far as breeding you don't want to breed related they will get bent toes beeks ect. You have to start with unrelated pairs bought from different genes ! I put those plastic leg bands on them I use same colors on related birds

right on..my birds are all unrelated..i was just wondering like when you buy from online and stuff dont they (hatcheries) sell you pairs that would be related and same with people that dont have an extensive amount of birds...four red males from ohio, eight females reds from chicago, one yellow male from lapeer, mi, one yellow male from omish in central mi, seven yellow/silver yellows...to young to tell type and sex from lapeer and one yellow female from charleviox, mi...so im all good...ill be waiting for you to send me those pics and your prices...and then we can go fromthere....thanks again...i got some more pics with me feeing some more of the birds but ill put them on at a later time...imma watch a movie and relax...

do any of your hens feet and beak look like this...they seem to dark to me...i talked to some people on here and they say they will lighten up as they age..the person i got them from got the parents from a chicago swap and they were red goldens...however i dont think they were takin care of that well....they were missing back feathers and tail feathers when i got them...i didnt pick them up myself but when i heard about the living conditions i bought them all from the guy...he had a lot in a small dog kennel with tree branches...and so forth..but since i got them they got alot more yellow in the chest and head and there feet seem more yellow and same with the beak...i had them for about three weeks now...could it be because they werent getting the feed they needed and getting picked on that all these factors of the bird exist on them ...any input would be great....here are some pics

ok im not sure whats going on but it wont let me upload any more pictures....so i will try again later....thanks again for any input
