red hen laying white blotchy egg

My hen is laying for about a week now. She started laying over a month ago and then stoped. And one week ago she started again her first egg she laid last week was brown but it had white blotches on it, she laid laid a brown egg every day after that until yesterday when she didnt lay but when I collected my egg this morning it had white blotches on it again. Does anyone know what this is. Is the egg safe to eat

I get that from time to time, but I think it is just deposits from the oyster shell I have out for them. We have eaten the eggs and they are just as good as the others.
