red hen sick need help fast.. she might be dying..

she has been weak for awhile. a few days or more. stopped eating but attentive.. now i got her out of the pen and checked her out.. FINALLY and i smelled her breath.. ewww and i looked in her mouth and the m ost disgusting yellow stuff is stuffed in there. i took tweazers and got a lot of it out not knowing if it was hen or tumor or rotten corn.. she let me..
i sucked it out with blue sucker thing that you suck snot from baby sorry im in a hurry cant think.
i got gobs of stuff out..and it gagged me.. sour smell then i remembered a saying i had read.. sour crop.. and i cant find a thing on it..
i dont think she can swallow..her crop is empty..she is empty weighs so little..all feathers.. she is so weak and sick.
i put some oil down her as i read on line today to see if she will pooop oil like the chicken did.. vegetable oil but she aint goona poop. im araid she is gonna die. soon.
what can i do..? is there anyhing i can do? she is in a box by my fireplace now.. tho its 65 outside. it is cool in here and damp causeit is raining..gonna be 24 tonight.. what can i do... aj's

...can she take any fluids at all?...do you have any electrolytes?(like gatorade..)...what about a little sugar water?...

she makes no attempt to drink or eat.. ive put bits of boiled egg out for her and water.. wiht a bit of sugar and salt in it i have no gatorade.. gonna have to use the s yringe i guess illgive her a few more minutes.
i got some down her earlier with some activia..yogert the greatest thing for digestion since food. cant live without that stuff.
no pooting no smell to elimination..no smell to underarms or other places of anatomy.. wow its great must have every day..
she is standing up straight now. seems ok i mean she is not laying down not agitated not leaning over.. just standing there looking out the window i made for her in the box.. she watches the flames on the fire and is calm.
i think she appriciates the mess i went thru i really do.. am i insane that i think that chicken hen realizes that im trying to help her?????????????

This is indicative for trichomoniasis (sometimes referred to as "canker" ) rather than sourcrop...dab the lesions with iodine and follow the med treatment outlined here :

I just signed on, have not taken the time yet to read the post but saw somehing about dabbing the lesions with iodine..??? she has no lesions... so..
here is what is going on now..
ive been tube feeding her with yogert, ensure and egg yolk.. one time she passed feces m ostly brown goo with one lump in it. i thought things were turning around but no more poop and now her crop is full of the food i forced down her throat.
i tried massaging it and it gurgled. and then i turned her upside down and it the food came out her mouth. so i figure her crop is stopped up at the other end and not just the mouth.
her throat seems good. not as clogged as it was..
ive put apple cidar vinegar in her water.. tubed just a little down her.
so im gonna find some flagyl tomorrow. but it seems the crop should be opened up to see if there is blockage at the bottom of the crop doe s anyone agree..???
i am lpn and so this does not bother me.. ive capooned roosters before.. with no trouble.
so come on folks whats the next step now im gonna read what youve already suggested but the lesions thing threw me one... there are no lesions..

the stuff i got out of her throat and the stuff i have to go around to put the tube down her throat seems to be canker.. i agree but whats the lesions ???
i can get the med at the fish store in the a m so i need to hydrate her tonight.. should i do it under skin? i was so sure after the pooped this morning that she was headed out of the woods and ws getting nutrition.. im gonna ck sites on massaging the crop and see what i should do there.. maybe i could open up the blockage??????????????someone 931 729 9437

DON'T GIVE HER EGG it will constipate her and you NEVER feed an animal it's own kind, doesn't matter what the 'experts' say, how do you think we got foot and mouth disease? A baby bird, in the egg, has egg yolk, an adult bird does not.
Liquified foods would work for your tube; meat, greens, wheatgrass juice, anything highly nutritous. Google the word and put it with invalid and see what you get.
