This is the other male. He is not related to the birds in the previous post. His hen have very small comb.. She won't go near me for her photo.

this guy has proper tail carriage but your other rooster displays better coloration sounds like the hens are more pure than the roosters

I wonder if this is a pure red jungle fowl? Found it in my house compound near my coop this morning and it flew literally like an aeroplane over the roof of houses when I tried to chase it out of my house compound. It flew so far and high, and out of sight less than a minute. Never know chickens can fly so high and far! It made me search to learn more about it and I do suspect what I saw this morning in my house was a red jungle fowl.

Anybody knows what is the largest jungle fowl species ?
