Red Laced Blue Wyandotte?

Stacy, Perkins (the rooster pictured) is from you! I hatched him and could not keep him so Rebecca has him now.

He must be pretty young in that photo, cuz he's a leggy little guy!

Hiya folks.

I have a blue laced red... Still not sure if it is a roo or a hen. I thought the darker feathers on the wings were a good roo indicator, but all the ones from the bunch Mcmurray sent look like this so I am not sure... Some of the birds of this kind really do look different!

I agree, it's a roo. The sure way to tell with this particular breed and color at this age is to look at the feathers coming in on the back and tops of the wings. If they look like they are fringed compared to the rest of the body feathering, then they're male. You should also notice that the comb will be standing off the head more than with the females. The females will have more defined edges and lacing to their feathers.

You said your bird is blue with red lacing-everyone has responded about blue laced red birds? A picture of your bird would be helpful.
