One of my fav poultry books. Written by the veteran judge who oiginated the White Laced Red Cornish. He wrote at least one other book which is available either at http://www.archive.org or Google Books. http://books.google.com/advanced_book_search?q=Red+sussex+black+hackle

A side note, Judge Card was Dan Honour's uncle's uncle. The apple sure didn't fall far from the tree there.

I have a question. What would be a good weight for a 5 month old cornish? I know they are a slow grower but I don't know if my current DC has potential or if I should just go ahead and cull.

I think he's about 20 weeks and he's around 4.5 pounds give or take. he seems healthy and has just started to try to crow.
