Red lump after taking a poo

New to this so this could be nothing to worry about. Only had the hens 2 weeks now.

One of the hens was taking a poo the other day and once the poo dropped out, a red lump popped out (then back in). Like she turned inside out for a second. I've only noticed this once.

The poo's pretty healthy though. (although she does have some poopy feathers... but i've read on here just to wash her backside!

Any advice or reassurance appreciated!

She is probably okay. If it was a poo particularly hard to pass she could have, as you describe, turned inside out a bit. If you haven't seen repeat incident since, probably no further action needed.....
