hi has anyone used or heard of this red stop solution for red mite here is the ad

would like to know if it works

thanks liam

Red Stop Solution:
· Reduces stress in birds from mites - birds relax - increased productivity
· Easy to use simply add to drinking water - saves time and less labour involved
· Approved for organic farming - no insecticides - natural ingredients

Dosage:
Add 1ml of Red Stop Solution per 1 litre of drinking water daily for 10 days, then 1 day per week until red mite threat is cleared.
(50ml of Red Stop Solution is sufficient to treat 6 birds over a 12 month period).

For use with all poultry, pigeons & other avian.
After ingestion, Red Stop Solution enters the blood stream and renders the blood indigestible and unattractive to the mites which stop feeding and die of starvation.

Has NO effect on eating eggs whatsoever.

Directions for use
Dilute 1 ml to 1 litre of drinking water for 10 consecutive days and then 1 day per week. 100ml is sufficient to treat up to 12 birds over a 12 month period.

Red Stop Solution has been sold in Europe as well as many other countries for the last 10 years. It has only recently arrived in the UK due to the foresight of one of our leading poultry vets.

Red Stop Solution is different from an other anti-Red Mite 'eradicators' because it eliminates all Red Mite by starving them to death. This makes the chicken's blood completely unpalatable to the Red Mite - which then dies of starvation over a period of time, and because they can't feed, they can't breed.

Red Stop Solution is completely safe and does not have any affect on egg quality and therefore there is no egg withdrawal.

Red Stop Solution has been thoroughly tested over the last 10 years on commercial sites throughout Europe, and for the last year here in the UK; it has been proved beyond doubt that it is second to none as the ultimate natural weapon against Red Mite. Being a natural, organic solution (Red Stop Solution has organic certificates throughout Europe), any eggs laid during periods of treatment are not effected

never heard of it..... I would be suspicious.... especially since it has to do with the blood stream. Red mites wont be killed by that, they can go without blood for 2-3 months, kind of like a hibernation. treating them for red mite infestation requires strong chemicals that kill the mites. they have to be checked frequently

I was just interested to know if it would work I have a new coop without mite at the moment
wanted to get some red mite gear if I had it ready like murphy's law if you have it you will not need it
thank for your help I will not get any stick to the power

I would want to know what the active ingredients are at least. There's an awful lot of this kind of stuff out there that's supposed to be basically a miracle cure, all natural, organic etc. etc. but only advertising and sales people to back it up.

I am just now dealing with my very first mite outbreak after many years of keeping chickens. We've stripped and sprayed the coops with Sevin and dusted the birds with Poultry Dust.

here we used to use ripcord and diesel mix in a high pressure sprayer and it killed everything, after 8-9 years they became resistant to it and now we use carbaryal with water and dishwash liquid ( it helps it to stick) and it kills almost anything on contact, it stinks tho. afterwards we air the house out and once dry we use a mix of DE and Poultry dust ( pestine here) and paint it into the crack/ wall/ perches for extra protection and it seems to work. when we apray and after wards for a few hours we shut the chickens out just incase the fumes are harmful to them
