red mites under our broody hen-help!

Our broody hen is sitting on a clutch of eggs which are due to hatch this weekend. This morning we discovered red mites in the nesting box where she and the eggs are sitting.
We're afraid to move her incase she goes off being broody but are worried about the effect the mites may have on the hen, the eggs and the chicks when they hatch.
What should we do?

dust the nest box now.... we found broodies are the best red mites trap around...
