They do look very similar! Mine is technically a Red Partridge Orpington, but that's also a project breed at Papa's Poultry and still under development, so the chicks all look a little different.

This is my brown/red chick right now, at 5+ weeks old:

I'm curious to see what your chick ends up looking like. If you remember, come back and post when she feathers out

I saw, & they're very cute.

I'm working on Wheaten Crele Orpingtons, & have a mix mash of different color genes that pop up. I have partridge, Wheaten, Buff, & what looks to be wildtype splits.
I will definitely share more pictures.

It's a Variation of partridge. Not the Lacey patterned type though.
Should look similar to this, but with Barring.

This is a completely different crossing, just using for example.

P.S. Do you have a picture of their legs? They had slate legs if I remember correctly? All but one of mine have pink legs, but I do have one with darker legs... Not quite as dark as slate, more like blue. Looks kinda cool, especially in the right kind of lighting, they do look quite purplish-blue:
