Red pyle EE roo or Red Sex link X EE roo

The only thing that says EE to me is the beard/muffs. He appears to have a single comb, and IMO they have to have a pea comb or a combo of comb types to qualify as an EE. I'd say he obviously has some EE in him, but he looks like he is mixed with a Red-sexlink or even a Game breed.

since ee are a mix they can look like anything

Red Pyle is a color pattern. This is an EE, and he does not have that color pattern. In general, one would very much struggle to try to apply an official color pattern to an EE, as they are very mixed birds. If I were to liken this bird's color to another that I had seen elsewhere, I would say that he does look similar to some SLs that I have seen.

But please keep in mind that SLs are a mix too, a hybrid. They don't have a recognized standard, or pattern that someone would judge.
I was totally thinking he looked like an red sex link roo. the only thing that maid me question was his beard. I think the RSL roo has the yellow legs also. his tail looks like a yokohama which also has this same color pattern as mine ( ill get you a new recent pic pele, lol. per tail remark ). which leaves more questions. haha.

Whats weird is I originally thought the 3 white chicks i bought were sex links thrown into a hatchery choice order my feed store had maid. they were different and unknown so i grabbed them. But two turned out to be red Pyle old English bantam hens. with their legs , face, and salmon chest i couldn't deny them as R P O E B. But i recently maid a post asking if i had an B B red old English bantam or a Golden Phoenix. She looks like both but i was told the leg color maid her Golden Phoenix. So Do you know Pele if these are Red Pyle OEG bantams, and if so is the leg color incorrect for these girls.

IF they are Red Pyle OEG b it makes my roo a even sweeter find. All three looked identical as Chic's except there leg colors. I had originally hoped for 2 pullets 1 roo. but although surprised I'm happy with what every my roo is. its a pretty cool bird. and all three from the beginning have been really feisty.

Pele here are some newer pics . Can i possibly have a yokohama trio with some EE blood in them.

Thanks for the updated pics. Aha! You know what you have here? You have a EE/ Red Shoulder Yokohama mix. Very interesting, and very beautiful mix, I heartily approve of the results. He's going to be stunning.

yes he does look like he has red shoulder yokohama in him. his tail may or may not get long though

ahhhhhhh man i hope that's the final judgment on this roo Pele. he is going to be stunning isn't he, i really really like this roo. you can tell just over a month difference in his pics has maid a noticeable change. i hope his maturing keeps up the good results.

Yes I'm actually quite jealous, chances are he's really taking a page out of the yokohama book with that tail of his. I'd be very tempted to offer you gobs of money for him if I lived near you :p. I'm really quite enchanted by this mix.

what is the hen in front of him in that last pic? he seems leggy lol makes me wonder if hes got some sort of game in him with those long legs as well...

Im glad you asked I got 3 white chics this year all three looked the same. The roo in this post and these two girls. They looked like albino Ameraucana chics as day olds. I originally thought they were red pyle old english game hens. could they possibly be my roos sisters making them yokohama X with EE
