I haven't seen it in person , but here are two more that hatched under a different broody. They are more brown then anything .It looks Silver to me, though it could be the lighting. If it's as yellow as it looks, Silver. Your sex-link theory may have played out![]()
Silver/gold/silver ? The first two in the left are the previous chicks and the one on the right is the third egg that decided to hatch on Monday, the other two hatched FridayThe silver/gold thing works regardless of pattern genes etc, however can be difficult to see in many cases. For example, a fully black chick is still silver or gold, you just won't be able to tell.
