Red shoulders on Easter eggers

I sure hope so. Even with those red splotches coming in on her shoulders? You'll notice very faint similarly placed splotches on all of the EE so it makes me wonder if it's genetic with this line. The breeder told me that all his EE look a bit rooish at first, maybe this is what he meant?

The first bird, that's not the "red shoulders" of a cockerel.....your bird has a lovely, even pattern with color extending beyond patchy, red shoulders...and is a pullet
Now, the second bird, that is classic brick red shoulder/ patchy colors of a cockerel

What do you think of this? The xolor is much darker in person. 12 weeks old.

It's okay. Honestly your birds coloring is so much like mine and yours looks very much like a pullet at 12 weeks to me that it's actually giving me hope that mine is just getting deep red wings like yours and not turning roo on me.
