I'm seeing a bunch of black tailed buff in color. My opinion.

that because those red cochins do have silkie feathers i have wyandotte with silkies feathers

Red being the name because of it's deeper coloration than Buff, and for lack of a better name? I think if they are the solid red color, than they should be called Reds, but the last pic above looks like a BTB to me too.

A red bird has mahogany genes in it. Making the orange go a dark, bloody nearly blackened red. Not orange, not buff, not yellow. Doesn't matter to me if the tail is black or not, or if the neck is black, just as long as the bird is actually a carrier of Mahogany. Sounds fair right?
