There are red silkies, but I think a lot of folks don;t realize how dark a good buff can be. There is a different HUE to red than to buff. Look here to see photos of real red silkies: http://www.aviculture-europe.nl/nummers/10e03a15.pdf
I'm sorry but again the "red" on the left just looks like a black-tailed Buff or a Buff Columbian. Reds should not have pale, buff, or nearly white undercoat, and should be a really deep RED color, like shown in the illustrations when you search for "red silkie."

Sonaran Silkies, I can't get that PDF to load fully without crashing, sorry. Love the mottled Breda though. PDF's are never fun, and often people make them just too big.
