My Rhode island Red, Moana, is about two years old. She has a red spot near her bum. It looks bare and red. She is eating fine and laying once in a while. I inspected her and saw no bugs or anything.
My bantam sultan rooster, Mike Wasawsky, also seems to have a red bare spot on his neck. He is one year old. While they don’t mate, she is much too big for him. They do live in the same coop. Non red of the other girls have this problem.
Any ideas? Sorry for the bad pics, they were not cooperating.
