What’s going on with my hen’s feet, and how do I help?

That’s what I was wondering. I live in Florida and we have A LOT of ants and fire ants and sometimes they get them in their coop but I was told they would be fine that the ants wouldn’t bother their legs.

Also, she is the only one of 4 with legs like this.

I would probably remove the bedding, and treat the coop with permethrin or Sevin dust as long as you do not keep bees.

Okay I will try that. I’ve been keeping DE in it but it doesn’t seem to stop the ants.
