Red Star or Speckled Sussex Pullets Near Los Angeles????

Hi! I really really want to buy about 4 pullets to start with in my backyard. I don't want to buy online because the prices are way too high and many of them won't let me buy less than 15 chicks....That's waaaaaay too many!

Does anybody have any idea of where I can find them?? I've been looking around but I can only find Red Rhode islands!

I would soooo much appreciate the help!
