That is a good cross. Should get 98-100 % accuracy on the sexing.
The reason it is a good cross is because both birds carry the columbian gene and both are wheaten. Those two genes are needed to get a clear color difference between a male and a female.
The only reason a cross would need dominant white would be to remove any black pigment from the chick down.
