Red Stars??

Quote:
I don't believe so as Leghorns carry dominant white. When you breed any color with dominant white, the F1 generation will be all white with some color bleeding through.

From what I understand you cross a White Leghorn roo with either a RIR hen or new hampshire red. The males should be white, females red. You can not breed a red star roo with a red star hen to get sex-linked chicks though.

If you are still not sure, try doing a test hatch with this breeding combination to make sure it works, rather than sell chicks that are not sex-linked, if you know what I mean.

Won't work.....From that cross all of the offspring will be white, probably with red leakage especially in males.
That cross only works for rate of feather growth sexing.
