Set my first set if shipped eggs for the Easter hatch a long. Wheaton/Blue Wheaton Ameraucana...I'm a wreck. Meanwhile lock down today for my own eggs...eek!!!!

ooooha Blue Wheaton are so pretty & the chicks look like baby owls for the first several weeks so they are supercool! Good luck & we must have pictures ;>

@Kassaundra what do you have in the bator???

I have buff orp, olive eggers, and mix

My own NN girls eggs. More just like the other pics I've posted of the previous hatch (3 wks ago) I call them "Seussers" chickens that would look normal in a Dr. Seuss book.

Kinda like hatching eggs, w/ a goat you can get 1 - 4 kids so imagine you set 4 eggs hoping for a pullet, only 1 eggs hatches & it is a Roo...

Ohhhhh

not good
Well the silver lining is in this case the Buckling is 50% Kiko from a resistered 100% Kiko buck, & I have all the paperwork so he has a chance of finding a place as a herd stud. He is a very nice looking fella and the Kiko worm resistance is in high demand, so he might not end up at freezer camp...but of course the only goat I have is his mom, so he is no use to us, I'll sart advertising him for sale closer to weaning time, so fingers crossed he gets lucky!

Meanwhile, I candled last night. The trap nested pure SFH egg from my pullet under the 2 roos I bought is developing! Both SFH gals are in trap nest = pet carriers w/ hay for this am , no eggs so far but I'm going to keep putting them in the trap nest every am until I can get the other birds moved around so I can ID their eggs w/o the trap nest situation.

posting blocks today!!!!!!!!
WOOHOO! Will be looking forward to seeing them...
