Red/yellow Golden Pheasants With Greenish Legs???

I remember seeing a post of someone that said that if the R or Y Golden Pheasants have greenish looking legs, it means that they are crossed bred birds? Can anyone confirm this? I just bought one male that has this green tinted legs and I am wondering if I shouldn't breed him?
