My black sexlinks, and one red sexlink have for months had lost feathers around butt and vent, increasingly red exposed skin. We have used Sevin and mite sprays. It seems to now be getting worse and nothing helps. I have included a picture. Only my buff or ping ton fares well. They appear to almost all be laying, 10 chickens, 7 eggs a day. Very worried about them.

Hmm have you seen any of the hens pecking at each other? They like to peck at red spots and they make it worse. Or it could even be a parasite. Im sure some more experienced members will be here soon to help. You should put a thin layer of neosporin on the red spots to sooth them.
