Redinator's First Hatch-Along w Bonus Broody: And Everything Thereafter

For the record, I'm not very good at following my own advice. I just opened the incubator and gave all the eggs a little jostle and noticed the Ayam Cemanis felt cold to the touch :( . I don't think the corner of the incubator is getting enough heat so I put them in the basket with Sweety's eggs and Oreo. I hope they're ok :fl

Fingers crossed!

I've noticed with this incubator it's harder to maintain a higher humidity that's needed for the hatch. It's been hovering at 65% with a single damp sponge and both channels filled. 65% is the minimum needed in the last few days. I added a second damp sponge and now it's at 70% humidity :fl so nerve racking.

Oreo has feathered legs. I took Oreo out for a bit to see if he/she was interested in food or water since he/she hatched just over 12 hrs ago. No interest, just wanted snuggles :love but I had to put in back until another chick hatches to keep him/her company. Cookie is working on the pip in tiny bits.

Say hello to Cookie!
