A number of years ago my Hybrid had her cubs in mid-December. We named them Dasher, Dancer, etc. Three hours after Blitzen, Rudolph completed the pack. As things turned out, Vixen was the only little boy in the litter.

What kind of hybrids, might I ask?

How are your LF breeds integrating with your bantams? I'm really hoping my 5 LFs will not give me fits when it comes time to integrate in a few weeks.

Another thing I've noticed that might make you feel better about mixing the flock . . .

My little Self Blue Old English Game Bantam cockerel (what a mouthful for such a tiny bird), Littleman can easily outrun my standard sized cockerels. Also, since he's so small he can duck and hide in areas they can't get into.

My little Self Blue Old English Game Bantam cockerel (what a mouthful for such a tiny bird), Littleman can easily outrun my standard sized cockerels. Also, since he's so small he can duck and hide in areas they can't get into.

Lol yes BB Red Old English Game Bantam is quite a mouthful for tiny Shirley, so I get it!

Good to know. My bantams are incredibly fast as well when they want to be. Most don't run from me, but if they decide they want to, even catching them in the 10x12 coop is difficult. And I already have things to hide under or jump on top of, but I'll be sure to add a few other things when I integrate the larger birds.
