As @oldhenlikesdogs suggested, get a thick quilt or blanket and lay it over top. Don't cut off air vents but just covering the machine will help hold in the heat and humidity. Eggs have a lot of mass and don't cool down awful fast. It's common in the wild for a hen to leave the nest for up to an hour searching for food or water.This totally sucks... torrential rain and the power went out![]()
