That’s exactly how it’s going to go! Right when you’ve lost all hope of seeing it and decide to check out they’ll say here I am. I’d definitely go for the nap!

Last hatch the one that started wiggling first was the last to pip and hatch. Seems it kept wearing itself out with all the wiggling, lol

Oh, I just wanted to mention . .I can only see some of the numbers on the eggs and when chicks start hatching and kicking the others around I will not have any idea who is who, lol.

My first hatch I thought I had it all figured out. I had a notebook with egg numbers and wanted to know which chicks hatched from the different colored shells. I had a couple of green, blue, white, and brown. I had a security cam setup and everything. The first chick hatched and sent two others rolling around. Then another hatched and flailed and knocked a few others around. Even after watching the video footage I couldn't really see the numbers.

At least I have the hatching baskets this time, so I'll know which batch each chick is from.
