Hi

We have just three chickens and for the best part of this year have been getting three eggs per day. We moved them to the other side of the garden giving them more sun and space and since doing so we have at most 2 per day.

They have layers pellets and oyster shells along with veggies & corn or we let them roam the garden.

They seem happy and no sign of mites or bugs of any kind.

Are we doing anything wrong?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Emma

Ditto--Chooks can be goofy. Mine slowed down when they moved to the new coop too. It is MUCH nicer and they're ranging on the same ground, but they still slowed down for a few days

Gotta love the confused little fuzzy butts.

I introduce chicks to the coop and my hens production fell by 50 percent, frustrating but I'll wait it out.. Four of them don't go in the coop when it starts to get dark, and they always have before the new additions, like I said, very frustrating!

Thanks peeps, this whole chicken lark is confusing!
