What broody behavior looks like:

The egg being dragged back under her... that is the BEST way to tell a broody, LOL! But she is one of the calmest broodies I've seen. Most I've seen will screech like they're being killed, lol!

Nah, my non broodies will tuck eggs.

Extremely severe frostbite that made a full recovery. I can get her recovered pics tomorrow if needed.

I have a video of a super frail D'Uccle chick that was the result of being too cold. It is absolutely heartbreaking to me, over 6 months later. She died

I can pull it up if needed.

Debeaking should be a crime, in my opinion, and that poor little duck will never be able to live a good life. How sad...

I know they're not your fault, so I'm not blaming you. They just make me sad.

Did you sedate the bird to remove the lump?

It's almost impossible to sedate birds. They are very sensitive to any of the normal sedation medications, and can die just from being sedated.
