Many times, mares lived in the Sheiks' tents.
I love my Arab mare.
He was awesome, pulling on the jockey the whole way, and finishing with lots of gas in the tank still, ears up and happy! What an amazing horse.
I was interested to learn that American Pharaoh is a breed of quail.....

I wish I could find somewhere to ride. We are in central Ohio. I've looked at a few stables and just can't find what I'm looking for. I just want to be around them. I've ridden my whole life...Hunter, Saddle Seat, Western, Dressage, Trails. I showed Hunter and Dressage. . I don't have a horse now, but I don't want to quit riding. A few years ago I was in a riding accident and had to take some time off to recover. Since then, I haven't been able to find anywhere suitable, for whatever reason. I'd even be willing to just work with them on the ground, or cleaning stalls, etc, or exercising for someone else.. Of the places I've called or tried, either they have horses that are more suitable for children or dead beginners, or they just don't respond when I call. It's starting to give me a complex, lol. I think a lot of stables don't want adults, for whatever reason.
Wow. That was something else with Donna Summer. Does this horse compete seriously?
