I can deal with heat and humidity just using a pocket handkerchief. It takes a closet full of blankets, quilts, and comforters to deal with the cold. Thanks but no thinks.

@Karibare ~ Yes PICS! I love looking at everyone's chooks. I don't have any yet, but hope to have some after the first of the year, or when my coop is finished.
your chickens eat chicken?Went out to give the girls a little of the huge treat bowl I made for them.. Cleaned out the fridge and fixed them up some chicken, spring mix salad, grapes, carrots, apple and macaroni- LOL. Looked in the laying box and had a HUGE honkin' egg!! It's definitely from one of the new gals bc it's not dark as Olive's, which leads me to assume its from the Red Star due to its size (my other BO laid light eggs but not too big..)
