Rehoming a rooster you really like

I have about 30 meat breed birds. Two are mature Roos. There is a spattering of immature ones, but they won't be there long.
The Roos each have their "favorite" hens whom they service to death, and they pretty much ignore the rest.
The birds do seem to form bonds and a group that hatches together will remain together into adulthood.
If you are gonna get another female, do it soon.

At least 2 of boys will have to go unless you want to build a separate bachelor pad for them. I know you would prefer them not to become dinner, but unfortunately that is the fate of most extra roos. If you can afford the space for a separate run for them you can wait and see which boy turns out to be worthy of being a flock roo.

yes, getting like 20 more birds would be ideal, but that probably won't happen. i've actually had chickens go very nicely in pairs

each rooster need to feel that he has a "harem" to look after even if it's only on hen. that's betterthan having three roos fighting over two hens. it helps if they are free ranged and can each have a territory. if you chose to build two boys a "bachelor pad" as long as they are young when they're moved into it i've found that they bond well with each other and are happy to live alone. also, don't mix up argueing with actual fighting. sometimes roosters will disagree and do the whole hopping around thing for a moment then be friends again, just like any human boys. i hope you get to keep everyone!
