I have about 30 meat breed birds. Two are mature Roos. There is a spattering of immature ones, but they won't be there long.
The Roos each have their "favorite" hens whom they service to death, and they pretty much ignore the rest.
The birds do seem to form bonds and a group that hatches together will remain together into adulthood.
If you are gonna get another female, do it soon.
