This is Larry, hatched September 4th, 2021. A couple of weeks ago he got into a scuffle and another rooster pecked his eye (now half blind). He'll have to be separated from other roosters, otherwise he will hide 24/7.
It's hard to see him go but it is for his best interests
Full disclosure: The universe really hates him.
At a few hours old he got a cut at the base of his tail that caused it to permanently be held to one side (injury caused wry tail).
At 3 days old he got Fowl Pox and once he finally got over it, the scar tissue caused a little bit of damage to his eyelid (the eye peck from a couple of weeks ago messed up his other eyelid too).
At 7 months old a pitbull got into the pen and he rushed the dog. Larry kept it busy long enough for me to run out there and get the dog. Surprisingly he only suffered a minor puncture wound (and a bath from being slammed in the mud)

He was very patient and seemed to really enjoy the blow dryer.
He's had it rough but he deserves the best, and a great home
He also loves dragon fruit
