I had a hen acting a little ill this past weekend so I separated her and gave her some TLC. She is now looking and acting much better and I would like to reintegrate her back in with the other on Friday. This is not the first time I have had a hen separated and reintegrated them. I always try to get them back in with the others as soon a possible. Here is the difference this time is the room she is currently in has a temperature of about 65 degrees F. Friday thru the weekend is currently showing highs of the low 20's and lows in the single digits. The outside temps are forecasted to not break above freezing till mid next week. Should I have concerns of shocking her with such a huge temperature difference? As I mentioned I really like to try to get them back out with the others as quickly as possible just don't want to cause a bad situation from taking her from 65 to low 20's.

I’m glad your hen is doing better. I don’t know your setup. If you had a pen within your run with some shelter (a covered crate) that you could put her in that would be great. If she were mine that’s what I’d do for a couple of days. Putting her out during the day letting her and the others get used to each other.
Then about day 3 I’d take down the pen just before nightfall. I’d see if she goes to coop at night when the others go in. At night in the coop she’ll be fine (warm with others). It would seem you’d need to watch that first morning when they all wake up together. Look for bullying.
If so you might have to put up the pen again and retry introductions again after another couple days. Prepare to be patient be flexible and watch. There’s no set in stone answer because each chicken is a individual.
Go slow. Start over if you need to. Be aware.
Good luck.

How big is your coop?
Do you have a cooler spot you can put her in that will acclimated her more quickly - unheated garage?

If you have space inside your coop where she is protected well from wind, you can try caging her in there will a thick layer of bedding and see how she does.

Thanks for the recommendation. My garage is heated but i can close the vents and it is cooler than the room she is now. I usually use the garage but this past weekend my son was in there working on his car and I did not want her exposed to the chemicals and fumes.
