My RIR hen just passed this morning (See https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=12818). I had my Splash Andalusian in there with her since the day she fell ill to keep her company. Since she is now not keeping him company, I am wanting to get him back into the big flock (10 hens, 2 guineas, 1 roo).

Should I wait a bit before reintroducing him just in case my hen gave him something if it wasn't heat stroke? I'm just concerned that she could have had Marek's (she could use her wings really well, but just not her legs - leg use got worse as time went on).

    Thanks!

Sorry for the loss of your hen.[IMG]
If it was Marek's they'd all be carriers anyways...so I would assume that it would be okay to put him back with the others. I'd do it at night though, when everyone's asleep.
