Relatives making jokes about owning chickens

I better go now....

I get it all the time..crazy chicken lady 🤣 from other relatives, but the kids (grown up by the way) say u care more for them than us…no, my little flock don’t answer back or drain my bank account! Also my flock want to spend their time with me, not out partying! They are my little bit of me time 😊
God help me, DD came into my bedroom a little while back and said, that she and the BF and another friend were going to a party at yet another friend's house and she would not be home tonight, and would that be OK. And I said, yeah, sure, be careful, I love you.

My family does! Mostly if I have to treat them for anything. If I bring them inside because of hypothermia, I get the usual, "I think that chicken is fine and probably wants to go back outside with its buddies".
If I buy anything for them, I'm pretty sure they think I'm nuts haha! They better keep quiet thought because I know they appreciate those eggs in the summer.

My family is pretty much all animal people and they know me, and knew it was only a matter of time anyway before we started our flock.
A few jokes at first... then they tasted the difference between home-grown free range eggs and what they were buying at the store. Never a another negative word, just hints dropped that "boy, we sure would love some more if you ever have extra."

Post thread under the emergency section, explain what’s happened and you will get help, keep her in a quiet room and give water with some sugar or nutri drench in for shock.
