Religious- I guess i need some advice, or just prayers.

Daniel .. I'm rejoicing with others here that not only are you aware of God's pull on your life, but you are able to verbalize it. He loves you more than you (or any of us) are able to comprehend.

Until you are able to find a "place", be it forum or a church home, continue to seek the Lord in prayer. Write a journal, find a church website that posts sermons etc online .. even a youth group (online).

There is something out there especially for you, don't be discouraged! But also try not to let being shy keep you from exploring new churches ..

God bless you and if you ever need to talk, I'm just a pm away.

Praying with you.... deb

Daniel, take PurpleChicken's advice about praying "thank you God" when something good happens to you, and when something bad happens to you, pray and acknowledge that you don't understand it but that you have faith that He is working for your good.

Most of all, don't expect to "feel" Godly or holy or faithful. We just have to "do". I don't ever have the real sense that God is with me, but I know He is. That is faith.

Daniel,

Faith is believing what you cannot see.

When you need someone just speak the name Jesus. He is always there when friends or family just don't understand.

I also use the name Abba when I pray which means 'daddy', because God is my Father and One on whom you can depend.

You will grow in your faith. When you can, find a youth group that you enjoy, they will love you and make you a part of their family. I know it's tough to do some things as a young teen but God will direct you to the right place at the right time for you.

We will be praying for you.

Daniel...

hang in there kiddo... see my signature line? I had a dream 3 nights ago about my Dad (he passed away last August) and we are going through some pretty hard stuff right now in our lives; in my dream Dad said those words to me so... I'm trying to find my way again as well, even though its pretty hard to "let go and give it to God" sometimes (okay, well.. alot of the time actually).

Hang in there... there's more of us than you realize that are right there with ya

and we can do it together.

remember also that you are part of the family of God, a beloved son and brother to those in the faith.

Thank you all so much! I don't really know what else to say other than thank you. I can say that last night i immediately felt a big change in my life... It's really started to remind me of what i enjoyed so much a couple of years ago, and for once i had a good nights sleep and woke up feeling great and energized which hasn't been happening much at all lately. Thanks again!

-Daniel
