Relocating non-laying hens

I have two no-laying hens that I need to rehome in Denver metro area. I have to move to a new location to take care of my ill mother and will not be able to take the hens with me.

The weather has been good here until yesterday when we received a few inches of snow. But I would like to relocate them prior to any other harsh weather.

I am willing to take them to any location that is within reasonable mileage from Denver.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

You might also mention whether they aren't laying because of old age (6 years or more) or just because it is autumn.

Try placing and ad on craigslist and/or other local sales venues.
Not many folks want a non laying hen...unless it's to eat.
That's what I do with mine.
