Remember safety!

Hi all!!! As a firefighter and new chicken rancher just a quick reminder . It's totally common sense but with spring chick days going on, remember to be safe with the brooder lamps. Keep the dust wiped off them daily, and safe distance from combustible items. There was a big barn a couple towns away that burnt down here today because of a brooder light. Tragic and senseless loss. Be Safe.

Thx for the reminder, so glad I'm just down to the one right now. I had almost 12 going when my goats were having babies, and that was with mamas being able to bump into them and stuff. Definitely wont repeat that potential disaster next year.
