Well, Shadow is on Day 15 and doing well. Hopefully, in five or six days, we'll be watching her with her babies. Keep your fingers crossed for my little girl!

Shadow looks alot like my old batnam cochin Lil' Blue. I lost her during the coon raids this past summer. I would love to get another blue cochin.

I'm secretly hoping that one of my large hens goes broody so I can put more than 3-5 eggs under her, LOL. Shadow is sooo tiny, only 5 standards would go under her. Two were not fertile, so now she's sitting on just three, which is very comfortable for her size. Sorry about your poor banty hen, 4 Love.
