Okay, this is a completely real and true story ...
I've played music on and off for all of my adult life and most of my kid life as well. When I was a YOUNG man and had less responsibilities and more disposable income, I bought several guitar BRAND NEW (still have my Les Paul, they'll have to bury me with it) ...
Now, I'm older and have long since given up the solid life of a musician to chase my dreams of working in an office. So, last month I hit a bit of a financial crunch (nothing serious, no worries!) and decided to sell my Gibson ES-135 and my Dobro. Wanting to get it over with, went to the music store (chain) rather than trying to sell privately.
I walked in, declared my intent, and the young man behind the counter said "Oh wow, I can't make you an offer until I check with the 'vintage' department!
Apparently, I'm VINTAGE! lol!
