The first photo does look like a blood ring forming around it, but I wouldn't be 100% sure because I'm looking at a pic and not the real thing. I can't tell what's going on with the second one and the last one looks like a double yolker to me.

It is much better when you candle from the air cell. You see things more clearly. If you candle from the top and it's a distinct ring going around the egg and you see no other veining, then you can be pretty sure that's what you are seeing.I just learned I candled the last two backwards..
On the blood rind looking one, any advice on how to know if it has visible blood pooling?

Never heard it and I don't weigh. I'm not sure how that could be judged by weight as some eggs may have lost more moisture than others but all could still be alive.So I read somewhere that you could judge good vs bad eggs on day 14-17 just by weight. Have you experienced this?
