Hi,

My eggs go into lockdown this Sunday night. They are in the carton still (and have been almost the entire time). They're doing well..candling shows movement.

Do I take them out of the carton and lay them on their sides for ease of hatching or are they okay to hatch inside the carton?

Thanks

I've done both. Recent hatches I take them out of cartoon at lock down to lay flat. It probably doesn't matter either way but I personally don't like to see them kerplop out of the shell from carton height.

Thank you all very much
