After Hurricane Michael I lost all of my coops. I moved my chickens into my barn and made temporary coops out of a couple stalls. This may have worked had it not flooded our area about a week after the hurricane. We have built new coops and moved everyone into their new residence but the smell of the wet chicken feed in my barn is well really bad. I have tried Sweet PDZ and some Diatomaceous Earth. Any other suggestions? I was thinking tilling the earth might help to. Oh and all my chickens survived the hurricane. Lost one of my horses but no chickens. Thank you for any suggestions.

More ventilation. Make sure there is no water (rain) coming in.
If you ventilate well the 💩 poop gets dry in a short time and the coop doesn’t snell much.

Seems like water and poop are the ugly combination in all the searches I've done so far :sick:sick. Summer shouldn't be the biggest problem then... should work on keeping it dry during the rain, let's see :thumbsup
