Don’t worry, it isn’t a common thing. In over a year on here, I think Ive gotten that stuff only once or twice, and it was reported by someone else and dealt with before I even noticed and I had a blank message in my box. I think they spammed everyone or large numbers all at once. A good rule of thumb is just never follow links in messages unless you’re expecting them, like if a friend sends you a link you asked for. If a stranger or super newbie sends one, just ignore it.

Someone's apparently still doing this-- a pm like that was sent to me within the last 5 minutes.

Of course I reported it, and one of the mods must be working very fast: it's gone already!

When an account is spam cleaned, conversation messages created by it are deleted.

Settings in the filter have been adjusted.

I also got a message wanting me to rate naked photos. This has never happened to me before. What do I have to do? I am dealing with some other crap today and have not read through all the posts. Sorry.
